Swararnava is a complete non-profit and music service oriented organization. Swararnava, the exclusive violin institution, is mainly focused on teaching classical carnatic music. Swararnava was established in 2007 September at Ameerpet, and later it was extended to another branch at Taranaka in 2008.
The technique of playing carnatic music on violin has been introduced nearly 200 years ago. Since its inception, it has undergone many improvements. Nevertheless, the style of playing viz. holding the bow and the usage of the left hand varies from artist to artist. It is quite difficult to draw a consensus on which style is correct/Perfect.This institution has been instated with the aim of introducing a new and lucid way of teaching methodology of teaching carnatic music on violin, a methodology which was evolved after considering the suggestions and recommendations of many great violin artists. This institution was founded by Sri Siva Krishna Swaroop. He is a disciple of renowned violinist Sri Peri Sree Rammurthy Garu. Sri Siva Krishna Swaroop has completed diploma and M.A. in violin under his discipleship; and has received M.Phil. degree from Telugu university for research on topic “methodologies of teaching violin” under his guidance.
Students:
Swararnava’s students’ age group range from 6 years to 60 years, in both Ameerpet and Taranaka branches. The students have won first prize and scholarships in many competitions. Swaranava is more focused on preparing the student for individual performance. The students have given individual and group performances at many prestigious sabhas in the city. Students of swararnava have a special position at every year Ramadasu Jayanthi Uthasavalu at Bhadrachalam which is organized under the guidance of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Nedunuri Krishnamurthy garu and Malladi brothers.
Siva Krishna Swaroop a disciple of renowned violin scholar Sri Peri Sree Rama Murthy. After analyzing the different ways of teaching of violin in different schools Siva krishna thought of establishing a unique school of violin “SWARARNAVA” which aims at the efficacious benefits of learning violin, following the tradition and style of his guru.
Gained the blessings of renowned musicians and musicologists like Sangeeta Kalanidhi, Nedunuri Krishna Murthy, Hyderabadbrothers, Malladi brothers, Sivanand Murthy, and Sri ChinnaJeeyarSwamiji.
Siva Krishna participated in several prestigious concerts across India and abroad. He has accompanied leading artists and has done solo violin concerts and jugalbandi concerts. He has been an accompanied violin artist at MADRAS TELUGU MUSIC ACADEMY Ugadi Puraskaras,Chennai, and ANDHRA MUSIC ACADEMY, etc.,
He was honored by Sri N.D.Tiwari Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh in the year 2008
Successfully performed the concerts in A.P.Golden Jubilee Celebrations in DUBAI. And in Eastern Countries like Malaysia & Singapore he has given meritorious performance.
